Anastasia Terranova is an Italian soprano specialized in early music. After completing her studies at the Conservatorio di Palermo, she continued her training at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she graduated cum laude with a Master of Arts in Baroque Singing. She later completed the Advanced Vocal Ensemble Studies (AVES) program in Basel.
Her repertoire extends from Renaissance and Baroque music to Puccini and contemporary works, with notable roles including Poppea (L’incoronazione di Poppea by Monteverdi), Carolina (Il matrimonio segreto by Cimarosa), and Manon (Manon Lescaut by Puccini), among many other performances. She has appeared at prestigious venues such as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (Paris), Teatro Massimo (Palermo), Schloss-Theater Schwetzingen, and LAC Lugano, collaborating with conductors including Christoph Rousset, Rinaldo Alessandrini, Enrico Onofri, and René Jacobs.
Winner of the First Prize with distinction at the International Vivaldi Competition, she has also taken part in productions with Ticino Opera Studio. Upcoming performances include the roles of Anna in Mysliveček’s Il Tobia and Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème. Her discography includes recordings for Glaux, Passacaille, and Da Vinci Classics, with new releases scheduled for 2025 and 2026.
